The Brook RED Centre - Peer Support
Brook RED is a peer run community service providing support for any individual who has a lived mental health experience. We use the unique insights and connections that a peer perspective offers, in order to support people in building and defining the life they choose to live.
RED at Brook Street & RED 88
Both centres are open Monday through Friday from 9:30am to 8:00pm. We offer a range of groups, including music groups, health and fitness, men’s and women’s groups, we also run excursions through the day and in the evening we enjoy meals together. One-on-one peer support is available at both centres, including support around finding employment, finding affordable accommodation and general mental health wellbeing.

The RED House.
The RED House is an active recovery environment where an individual can find the space, resources and support to address particular barriers or challenges in their life. The RED House allows for a planned stay of up to two weeks. Guests are able to access support and engage with RED 88, a peer support community, located next door.
The RED House is staffed with Peer Support workers in the evening and during weekends, allowing the guest additional support and resources, whilst working on their individual plans. RED House is not respite, and as such the RED House cannot accommodate crisis/emergency stays.
