Welcome to the home page for The Brook RED Centre. We are a mental health consumer directed non-government organisation located on the inner Southside of Brisbane, Queensland. We are developing a framework for peer support with mental health consumers who access the Centre. Go to our services page for more detail on what we do.

Our Goal

To accept, enable and support people with a mental illness and/or psychiatric disability.

 Our Objectives

To provide a safe environment for people with a mental illness or psychiatric disability.

To provide information, education and programs that are responsive to consumers’ needs.

bullet

To encourage and support the involvement of people with a mental illness or psychiatric disability to access community activities of their choice.

bullet

To develop collaborative partnerships with government and non government services and agencies.

bullet

To recognize and value individual and collective skills and expertise gained from a lived experience with mental illness or psychiatric disability.

bullet

To advocate on behalf of people with a mental illness or psychiatric disability.

bullet

To do all such things that are conducive or incidental to the attainment of the above objectives.
