Better Together Lived-Living Experience Workforce Project
What is the project?
Led by Brook RED and funded by the Queensland Mental Health Commission (QMHC), the project responds to calls to better recognise, support, and guide lived experience work across diverse roles, settings, and communities.
At the centre of this work is the development of a Lived/Living Experience Code of Ethics / Practice and accompanying guidance tools, shaped through co-design with people who bring lived and living experience of mental health challenges, suicidality, alcohol and other drug use, and caring. Alongside this, the project will deliver a state-wide Continuous Professional Development (CPD) calendar, designed to support learning, reflection, and skill-building across the LLE workforce.
