Dialogue is a peer created and designed space for peer workers to connect, reflect, explore and strengthen Lived Experience practice.
Dialogue was born as a two day conference in 2015, and has adapted with the times to become both a monthly masterclass webinar and a one day conference in November 2021.
APPLIED SUICIDE INTERVENTION SKILLS TRAINING
ASIST is a two-day interactive workshop in suicide first-aid. ASIST teaches participants to recognize when someone may be at risk of suicide and work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety.
Brook RED offers ASIST from a lived experience perspective.
We offer ASIST regularly throughout the year.
Brook RED provides 4-day training for peer workers to become facilitators of PeerZone workshops. We also provide ongoing support and communities of practice for PeerZone facilitators.

Brook RED in partnership with National PHN Mental Health Lived Experience Engagement Network (MHLEEN) are hosting the 2021 Dialogue Conference. The conference will be a primarily face-to-face event, with a virtual element as an option to attend via Zoom.
Registrations are now open for those who wish to attend face-to-face, or alternatively virtually for those who are unable to attend in person.
The conference themes are wellbeing, connection and reflection.
Belong training is designed to increase capacity to create affirming spaces and practice when supporting and working with LGBTIQIAP+ people.
Brook RED in partnership with Brisbane South Primary Health Network provides Belong training for individuals and organisations in the Brisbane South region.
Our range of offerings for the peer workforce have been developed by people with extensive experience in peer work.
We are currently offering lived experience perspective supervision for lived experience practitioners, human service workers and peer workers in the mental health workforce.
